The accreditation spreadsheet, and the pile of tools around it. Bloop holds one list of everyone working your event, and the applications, access matrix, passes, gate sheets, scanning, guest lists, show-day records and purchase orders all read from it. It does not replace your ticketing: we integrate with whoever sells your tickets.

Bloop vs spreadsheets

Yes, by CSV, and we help with the first one. Most events arrive with a spreadsheet that already holds the names, the pass types and half the matrix, and starting from it is faster than starting from nothing. Onboarding and migration are free.

A first event is typically live within days: import your current spreadsheet by CSV, set pass types and zones, and invite suppliers. Venues and tours carry their zones, roles and approval chains forward as a template, so the next show takes minutes rather than a day.

Yes. Each supplier gets a portal against their allocation and individuals fill in their own details and documents, so your team reviews exceptions instead of retyping names from emailed spreadsheets.

Conferences and trade shows that need registration, session tracks and an attendee app; permanent stadiums with installed turnstiles; and single one-off events, where the free tier is genuinely the right answer. Saying so is what makes the rest credible.

Who it's for

Scans keep going. Every decision is recorded with its reason, and the record catches up the moment the network returns. Nobody is let in on a guess.

Gates and scanning

Yes. Passes are QR, NFC or both, and they land in Apple Wallet. Gates run on standard Android and iOS devices, so any phone is a gate: no scanner hire and no per-device charge.

Today an expired health and safety induction, a suspended or revoked credential, or a show stop stops the scan, online and offline, through one shared evaluator. Supplier documents such as insurance and RAMS are tracked and flagged before they lapse, but they do not yet block a scan on their own.

Bloop tells you which printed sheets are now stale, and who is affected. Nothing needs reissuing, because the zone right lives on the pass type rather than on the pass. The matrix keeps a version history with a name against each change.

We count each team member once across every event you run in a year. The same rigger working five of your shows is one person, not five. Suppliers and crew never pay. We do not count passes issued, events, admin users, ticketed attendees. Free up to 100 team a year, then from £75 a month, and one licence covers every event you run.

No. Free is free for good, up to 100 team a year, with no card and no term. It carries the whole platform, audit trail included, because the tiers differ by team size only.

Nothing already issued stops working and no gate locks. We tell you at 80% and 95% of your limit, paid tiers get 10% headroom, and invites are never blocked in the week of a show. Past that, you move up a tier straight away, charged pro rata for the rest of your 12 months.

No. Unlimited devices and scans on every tier, so you can put a reader on every gate, dock and campsite entrance without watching a meter.

Yes. Every paid tier is a 12-month plan, billed monthly by Direct Debit or card, or paid yearly up front for two months free. Sign before 1 April 2027 and your price is locked for two years.

Your licence rolls forward. Forty three UK festivals cancelled in 2025, and none of those operators should pay twice for a year they lost.

It keeps the records. Who was on site, what they were told, who got the message and when accumulate as a by-product of running the show, and the compliance pack turns them into evidence for £250 a month on a 12-month plan, on top of any paid tier. Bloop produces the evidence; meeting the duty is yours, and you can do it without buying software from anybody.

Martyn's Law explained

The free checker asks six questions, runs the tests in the Act against your answers and shows which provision decided the result. It is the same rule engine that runs inside Bloop. No account, no email, no record kept.

Check which tier you are in

Every create, update and delete of significant data: who did it, what changed, before and after, and when. The actor is typed (staff user, supplier, individual, system), so the trail is forensic rather than approximate.

The application and database run in a UK/EU deployment region, and documents and photographs are stored in eu-west-2 (London). Every record is scoped to your organisation and every endpoint checks membership and role before returning anything. Supplier and individual portals are separate sessions bound to a single allocation or person.

Security and data

No. People accredited through Bloop receive transactional messages about the event they are working on and nothing else. Any SMS can be stopped by replying STOP.

Inside the product, you are: the event organiser is the controller for the people on their events, and Templar Works Ltd is the processor, acting on your instructions under a data processing agreement available on request.
