ZONE: THE SHIPPING LOG
What we shipped, in words that mean something.
Newest first. Written for operators rather than engineers: if a change does not alter what you can do, it is not here.
User-facing changes, newest first. Written for operators, not for engineers:
if a change does not alter what you can do, it is not here.
August 2026
Martyn's Law readiness, stated honestly. The compliance pages now say
exactly what ships today (accreditation records, induction and briefing
records, an audit trail under every change) and what is still on the roadmap
(a one-click compliance file export). A free readiness checklist is available
on the Martyn's Law page.
Text messages that behave. Every SMS Bloop sends now opens with the event
name so recipients know who it is from. Replying STOP unsubscribes a number
immediately and permanently, START re-subscribes, and nothing is sent outside
08:00 to 21:00 unless an admin overrides it for something urgent. Group
messages carry the opt-out line automatically, and the composer shows how many
segments a message will cost before you send it.
A first-run that goes somewhere. A new admin with no organisation now lands
on a short setup screen instead of an empty dashboard, and events in planning
carry a six-step checklist: dates, pass types, zones, a supplier invite, the
first credential, a scanning device.
Invites that explain themselves. Team invites now name the organisation and
the person inviting you, and replies go straight back to that person.
Integrations, documented. New pages for See Tickets, Xero and Google
Sheets, each stating what syncs, in which direction, and where the limits are.
July 2026
Credential sheets. Artwork, gate matrix and print pack for physical passes,
generated from the same access matrix the scanners use.
Supplier portals scoped to the supplier. Each contractor signs in to their
own portal and sees only their own allocation, people and documents, so you can
hand out access without handing over the whole accreditation list.
Confirm, don't retype. Returning suppliers and crew confirm the details
Bloop already holds instead of filling the form again.
Earlier
Bloop has been running live events since before this changelog started. The
history before July 2026 lives in the repository; this file begins where the
user-facing notes do.
